A big welcome to all of our new families joining us this week and welcome back to many others! We are so proud of how the children have transitioned into their new classes. They have been busy talking to the teaching staff about the topics that interest them- take a look at the class pages to see which topics they have chosen. It has been a delight seeing them make new friends, experience their new classrooms and be proud of the achievements they have already made in such a short amount of time!
Autumn Term Whole School Book
For the first full week, we completed a whole school project based upon the book, 'The Koala Who Could' by Rachel Bright and Jim Field. This charming rhyming children's book is about Kevin the koala, who loves to keep things the same but discovers that stepping out of his comfort zone to try new things can lead to joy and new adventures. A perfect book to start the new term with.

Photos of The Week- 'Let's Talk About It!'
To support the children’s vocabulary, and in order for them to keep abreast of current affairs both locally and nationally, we have a “Let’s Talk About It” assembly every Monday. Each week we have different pictures and questions to initiate conversations with, and between, the children. We continue this ‘talking’ theme by asking parents to discuss activities the children have done in school each week. We provide photos on our newsletter each week to help prompt the conversations!

World Mental Health Day 10th October 2025 - Wear Yellow
Every year, thousands of schools, companies and communities come together to make World Mental Health Day that little bit brighter by wearing something yellow.
This World Mental Health Day, we joined in and wore yellow with thousands of others across the UK to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health. We talked about the importance of Mental Health and well-being in our 'Let's Talk About It' assembly.
