Welcome

Welcome to Suckley School

'Happy, Aspirational and Ready for Life'

I am delighted to welcome you to our small community school which is set in beautiful rural surroundings, close to the local village and church. We currently have 89 children on role.

Our aim is to provide all children with meaningful and engaging learning experiences that will stay with them for life. Our dedicated staff team is committed to providing a secure and happy place in which to learn, one in which all children are able to thrive and to achieve their very best and we have high expectations of ourselves and of the children.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum which is tailored to the interests of our school community, and to do this invest heavily in enrichment and outdoor learning opportunities. We are proud to be one of only seven school in the country offering accredited Forest School Practice, and to have received validation for this. The Arts play a key role in bringing our curriculum to life, and to allow children to discover and draw upon their natural talents.

We are also pleased to run the Thrive program, a way of assessing and supporting children’s emotional and social development so that we can provide personalised learning programs.

I am always delighted to spend time showing parents and children around our school and to talk about our aims, vision and learning activities, so please feel welcome to book an opportunity to visit us.
