2023 2024 Fundraising
Suckley School has a small but active group known as Suckley School Parent Teacher Association ( SSPTA) which meets regularly and helps the school both practically and financially by fundraising. The Association organises a variety of events such as quizzes, walks, school fayres , book fairs, skittles evenings and so on, to raise funds for equipment and transport costs for school trips which enrich the children's learning experience. They work hard and their efforts are very much appreciated. Meetings are open to all parents who are welcome to attend and offer their support, and are advertised by the blackboard at the front of school.

2022 - 2023 Fundraising by SSPTA
The following events have taken place during the school year and have been widely supported by the school community. The children have had fun during non school uniform days, creating art work to be reprinted onto tea towels, mugs and cards to name but a few.....to date the following monies have been raised:-
Sept 2022 and January 2023 - Rags To Riches - periodically we ask parents to support the school by donating any unwanted clothing. This is the collected by Rags to Riches and weighed and the school are lucky to receive a monetary donation based on the weighted collection - this time our collection raised a combined total of £194.00.
Sept 2022 - Macmillan Cake Sale - We are very grateful for the parents support in providing yummy cakes for all of our school community to enjoy. The children helped to set up and run the stall and we raised a grand total of £133.60
Dec 2022 - Xmas4schools artwork - The children took part in designing their own "Christmas Scene" which could then be printed on various home items such as mugs, tea towels and cards for parents to purchase as Christmas Gifts and keepsakes. The PTA received a contribution of £79 for this event.
March 2023 - Easter Disco - The children had a great time at the Disco's throughout the evening and raised £180 towards the PTA funds.
April 2023 - Coronation Art - The children were asked to produce artwork in conjunction with xmas4schools, but this time for the King's Coronation. Parents were able to order items as keepsakes. The PTA received a donation of £44 from this event, which is fantastic!
