This week in Eagles we have been carrying out further fair testing in science. We had so much fun investigating water resistance. Take a look at our slide show. We made predictions and then identified and explained the effect of water resistance using plasticine!
Wednesday 14th June Eagles took part in a body coach workout ... it was really fun ... see our images below!!!

What an exciting start to a Monday morning. Eagles were in for a real surprise. Our guest visitor (Carys Marshall) introduced a workshop teaching the children drama to support this year's summer production 'Shakespeare Rocks'.
On Monday 5th June 2017, the University of Worcester hosted an England vs. France Paralympic Basketball tournament. The children in Year 5 and 6, at Suckley School, were invited to attend this prestigious event. It was a close tournament but England took the winning victory with 62 shoots against 57 shoots. The crowd went mad as the final scores were announced. The children even got to have their photograph taken with the England Players!

Spellings Week 8 Greek words ph and tricky words
In science this week we have been testing our hypothesis on air resistance. We therefore designed and made our own parachutes and carried out a fair test.
The children in Eagles Class have carried out a scientific fair test. Their objective was to explain that unsupported objects fall towards the earth because of the force of gravity acting between the earth and the falling objects. See our gallery of photos below.

Science in Eagles Class - Investigating Properties of Materials
ART: Tudor art work inspired by the artist Chris Ofili. The children have been designing and creating a piece of artwork inspired by the artist Chris Ofili. The children embellished their 2D, and 3D art, with a growing sense of colour, shading, textures, materials and finish, with a high level of engagement to achieve the desired effect.

Wishing the Year 6's good luck in their SAT's Tests this week . You have all worked really well and I am very proud of you all from Mrs Dixon and all the staff at Suckley School.
Well done Year 6 for a super attitude towards your SAT's this week. You were all extremely focused and conducted yourselves with great pride and you should be proud of yourselves and all you have achieved this academic year so far.
