Photography was very popular in the Victorian Era. The children have therefore been researching the inventor William Henry Fox Taylor. He went on to develop the three elements of photography: developing, fixing and printing. One of his most favourite photographs was taken of dandelion seeds. Therefore the children have recreated his photographic image of dandelion seeds through their art work - based on sketching as well as observational drawing. I think you will agree their art work is stunning!!!
